Travel to Gävle
By train
The Stockholm-Gävle stretch takes about 80 minutes by the X2000 train. Travellers that arrive in Arlanda by flight can go by train directly from Arlanda Central, this stretch takes approximately 60 minutes. The stretch Sundsvall-Gävle takes about two hours by the X2000 train.

The Stockholm-Gävle stretch by car or bus takes less then two hours. If you come from the interior country from Falun/Borlänge or from the western side or middle part of Sweden the main road 80 and 68 are a good choice.
